Most people who find this site are looking for help with a chronic health condition. Patients I see have diagnoses that include thyroid, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, autoimmune conditions, obesity, anxiety, dizziness, chronic pain, depression, vertigo, ADHD, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, MTHFR, sleep disorders and many more.
The first thing that probably comes to your mind is how could one doctor specialize in all of these conditions? The answer is simple, I don’t directly treat these conditions. I search for and treat the causes of many of these problems through the lens of the Tenets of Health. You have probably been seeing doctors for years who have been treating the symptoms and where has it gotten you? I have been uniquely focused to look at your history and lifestyle, examine you functionally, run comprehensive blood, urine, stool & saliva testing and create treatment plans designed to attack the cause of your complaints and turn things around.
I use a science-based model of healthcare that approaches the body from a radically different perspective. This model understands that the abdominal brain and organ systems of the body work together in synchronicity with the environment to maintain health and have tremendous influence over each other in subtle but complex interrelationships. An imbalance in any of these areas can lead to health problems or disease. This is functional-based medicine, not “alternative” medicine. It incorporates the most recent scientific literature of physiological and pathological processes into its model of clinical care. It integrates Red Teaming of all symptoms, diagnoses and treatments.
Our understanding of the human body is always advancing and evolving. There are always advances in the literature with regard to biophysics, neurology, endocrinology, physiology, nutrition, immunology and genetics pointing to new ways of looking at and understanding health and the risk of developing disease.
We strive to stay current by reading and studying research articles every week!

Autoimmune InflammAged Conditions
Infection in the body and the interactions between the immune response and microbe/antigen set the stage for a “Fertile Field” where the body and/or target organ is “Primed” for subsequent disease. Long-term immune stimulation prematurely ages the immune system, creates a primed immune response and leads to the progression of disease. Individuals with Autoimmune conditions are immunocompromised, and accumulating evidence suggests that premature aging of the immune system contributes to the development of autoimmune conditions.
Autoimmune disease is exploding in America. Could it be due to the constant boosting, stimulating and strengthening use of immune supplements. This InflammAging is the Long-Term Boosting, Stimulation and Strengthening of the Immune Response, resulting in the premature aging (immunosenescence) of the immune cells.
Autoreactive responses are surprisingly frequent, but are usually low-grade and seem to be harmless. So, the detection of Autoimmune (autoreactive) Antibodies or T cells in an individual does not invariably imply the existence of AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE.

Hashimoto’s / Low Thyroid
Having Low Thyroid Symptoms can not only be frustrating and cause many ubiquitous symptoms. Which of the Patterns of Hypothyroidism are you?
Primary Hypothyroidism | Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Thyroid Axis Dysfunction |
Thyroid Under-conversion | Thyroid Over-conversion |
Thyroid Binding Globulin Elevation | Thyroid Resistance |
Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis | Insulin Resistance? |
After the primary lesion, everything the body does is defensive in nature. The defensive measure continues until the primary lesion is corrected.
When Insulin Resistance is present, the Thyroid slows down to defend the body’s ability to use oxygen and glucose. Need more proof: Metformin a Diabetes drug is now being used for Low Thyroid.
Positive Antibodies
Stop Right Now and Search: ‘bacteria cleave immunoglobulins’.
Positive Antibodies | False Positive Antibodies |
Negative Antibodies | False Negative Antibodies |
Low Hanging Fruit Antibodies (EBV – 95% of the worlds population is positive) | Bacteria Cleaved Antibodies |
Fungi Cleaved Antibodies | Digestive Enzyme Cleaved Antibodies |
Parasite Cleaved Antibodies | Molecular Mimicry Positive Antibodies |
Antibody Invisible Microbes creating False Negative results | Molecular Mimicry Negative Antibodies |
Hormone Replacement Therapy Induced Elevated Antibodies |

Genetic Methylation / Mutations
Real Genetic Disorders are caused by mutations that are inherited from the parents and are present in an individual at birth. The problem are found within the first two years of life. Real Genetic Disorders have specific and unique signs and symptoms.
Due to the continuous exposure to different sources of damaging agents, genes/DNA relies on multiple complex and synchronized repair pathways to maintain genomic integrity.
A large amount of DNA damage occurs per cell every day due to numerous causes, including viral and bacterial infections. The majority of them are repaired, but the repair processes are not very efficient due to interferences of the bacterial, parasitic and viral microbial organisms.

Adrenal Uncoupling
The basis for many alterations in the HPA axis is an adaptive response for short-lived inflammatory responses (energy appeal reaction), which becomes a disease-inherent pathogenetic factor, if it continues too long, that can drive systemic disease sequelae of chronic inflammatory diseases such as the metabolic syndrome. The hypothalamic-autonomic-vasomotor system (HAVS) axis and the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis are stimulated in parallel in response to stress factors under healthy conditions.
The two stress axes seem to act in a parallel fashion in people with good health but are uncoupled in patients with inflammatory conditions and Portal Hypertension.,,,
The uncoupling of the two anti-inflammatory axes can occur and contributes to the increased susceptibility for infections and pathologic complications in hepatic portal hypertension patients.
